| Maybe next time, we might get a few more debates that actually make it to TV. Doing great! Thanks for all the votes!!! Next time we will be better known! So I am leaving this site up for a while to see what is coming open in 2012.
I am running an open source campaign which means you can find as much as you wish. I will do as much as possible if given the chance to turn this state around. Bobby made a video of the debate taking bits. My plan is to use the morganza as a means to rebuild the coastline. Opening it early and allowing a small flow would not flood everyone but we could make a small lake, and pass to the coast. Instead of waiting till the whole country is flooded. We monitor the flooding, and save the coast and the northern states. Lenny only had 30 seconds to respond and of course cannot explain the entire plan. We can rebuild our coast year by year with this and several other plans.
I am from New Orleans, and now live in Baton Rouge.
I have been a Republican and also a Democrat but have found I like being Independent for the last 8 years. If you check the political gym news spot from 94 when the Repubs took the house, you can see we discussed politics openly. It is not a nasty word! It is your freedom! I wanted to run and was told by the party I couldn't, so I switched. I am more fiscally conservative than Jindal and more socially liberal than the other candidates. However, as an independent I can ignore the national parties and do what is best for the state.

| I am sailing here, and not as serious as I look. However I am very very serious about flipping this state into a top tier example of fiscal efficiency, national ranking, and social achievements. It is possible, and I know we can do this LOUISIANA! Please: VOTE!

The state has been last in everything decent, and I mean way last for decades. The state has been first in everything that is negative as well. The country has dropped to 5th in Competitiveness and we are still last amoung the states and getting worse. We must as a state make basic changes in the procedures we are doing wrong that keeps us in this situation. I will work across all lines of separation to make this a better place for everyone. A top down redesign which keeps the current levels of government but increases efficiencies and effectiveness tremendously. In short, I hope to FLIP THE STATE!
How? We plan to redesign the natural resources tax code to cover a much bigger part of the budget. This will allow us to fix our problems, lower taxes and raise the homestead exemption. Lenny plans to bring the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative LONI, down to K-12. Streamline our curriculum to its simplest and most effective point to optimize our national rankings and standardized tests. We need to stop bucking the tests and best them! Lenny plans to streamline permitting across the board, and have 100 policy/procedural changes which will take our agencies mistakes designed in pre-1950 and make them the best in the country post 2012! Lenny plans as a project engineer to bid multiple projects together working with every legislator off all parties to fix every problem great and small. We will stop the corruption that has crippled our state for most and served just a few.
With your help on October 22, 2011 Lenny hopes to start the new year with great improvements. This is an open source campaign where the past present and future are put on the table for everyone to understand. There are no secrets. A decade fighting in the courts and with law enforcement about a divorce sham that involved throwing on spouse in the hospital and calling them crazy for a weekend, then taking everything. This was done so much by the corrupt that the coroners around the state stopped allowing it. 1000s were wrecked and it shows the efficiencies of our corrupt! It has been carefully discovered and proven that a large number of renegade Freemasons and others in federal state and local positions are abusing their power to allow some very sinister criminal enterprises to flourish and wreck this state.
Together we can reign in this abuse as I grade the FBI and Homeland Security the absolute worst of the bad designs gone wild. From DHH and Social Services, Law Enforcement of all levels, DOTD, all of the courts, and many others basic procedures to ensure basic human rights are going to be seriously enforced. This will relax the system and provide some breathing room for the decent folks to flourish again. Our state agencies are going to protect us from the Federal abuses, and we will exercise our states rights.
An Independent candidate that has studied the strengths and weaknesses of each party. Together through decades of trial by fire, we shall overcome procedural bad habits and poor design for a new Louisiana!
Leonard "Lenny" Alan Bollingham was born at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, and grew up in Jefferson Louisiana near New Orleans. A petroleum engineer from Louisiana Tech, and will create state inspection teams, and restart the oil industry while providing a safer infrastructure.
While at Mobil Oil Lenny completed over 100 projects all under budget and ahead of schedule. Some of the projects were over 1 million budgeted. Lenny hopes to work with every representative and senator of all parties in the state to attack the necessary projects in a wholistic efficient manner.
Lenny earned a M.S. in Systems/Computer Science and is very near completing the PhD from LSU. Lenny has worked with cutting edge technologies of all types helping a bit with the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative and Campuswide Networking while at LSU. Lenny promises to help draft new and more friendly high tech laws targeting these infant industries and attracting them to Louisiana. Lenny is a numerical methods specialist and you want him crunching on your budgets and tax codes.
Working together with great leaders from all parties is an advantage to not having to tow party lines. It is imperative we as a state make critical changes in our procedures across state agencies which will boost our ranking from last to middle of the pack and possibly in the top 10. We have one of the biggest state governments per capita, and if we are doing things at every instance to help our citizens there is no reason we cannot flip the state from last to FIRST! Consequently, from first ranking in everything negative to LAST!
Lenny has studied the state agencies while working through a personal debacle of defamation, fraud, and just about every other concievable crime across every agency and every level of law enforcement and court. It is time to change the way we work statistically and this is one of hisspecialties. We can change the way we operate from the front line to the very top of the agencies.
LOUISIANA IS JOB ONE!!!! We will reduce the burdens of smothering federal nonsense and project our states rights in ways that will encourage great businesses to flock here!
There are 100 simple changes to make with your help and vote, in the very first 6 months of being in office. The rest of the 4 years will be spent monitoring and improving things in tiny ways.
Lenny also earned an Master of Business Administration from LSU and hopes to use these techniques to make the agencies work smoothly across boundaries with a new level of cooperation and mutual support. Once we get these changes in place Louisiana will be OPEN FOR NEW HONEST BUSINESSES SEEKING AN UNBELIEVABLE LEVEL OF SUPPORT!
Lenny taught himself to read starting just before his third birthday using some games he designed and studied through computer science as nearly a phd. He gives the first two games away from his facebook page notes, (facebook.com/lennybollingham) but if elected he will make these incredible games available to the state free. A series of lesson plans that provide a boost in edutainment (Education and Entertainment) you cannot imagine!
